NOX make padel racquets using different faces, cores and technologies. They design padel racquets differently to tailor them to different play styles as well as for different levels of ability, from beginner players to professional players.
Padel racquet faces
NOX padel racquets are made from 4 different premium materials: 18k Alum carbon, Carbon 18k, Carbon 12k and Fiber Carbon 3k.
Aluminized 18K carbon that provides a solid and comfortable feel and greater resistance to temperature changes.
Carbon 18K provides maximum stiffness and strength while maintaining the racket’s lightness thanks to the finest interlaced carbon microfilaments.
Carbon 12K is made by interweaving horizontal and vertical carbon threads, achieving greater stiffness with around 25% less weight. Creating a lighter padel racquet without losing stiffness or durability.
The Carbon Fibre 3K interweaves the fibre threads to form small squares creating a more durable product.
Padel racquet cores
NOX padel racquets are made from 3 different premium cores: MLD
Black Eva, HR3, Carbon HR3 Black Eva.
MLD Black Eva core combines layers of materials with different rubber densities to optimise ball exit in low-speed defensive shots and power in finishing shots.
HR3 is the classic NOX core introduced for the first time in the legendary ML10 Pro Cup. High density HR3 rubber core, with the greatest memory effect thus attaining greater hitting power.
HR3 Black EVA core is based on the HR3, provides high density EVA core with maximum memory effect and slightly stiffer feel.
Other NOX technologies
NOX incorporate plenty of other technologies to enhance the performance and endurance of their padel racquets. These include:
Oversized grips which have a10mm extension for players who need a longer grip whether they have a two-handed or two-handed stroke or not.
Dynamic Composite Structure (DCS) whereby using a greater amount of material from the frame up to 4cm inside the racquet face it minimises the difference in toughness between the frame and the face. When the ball hits with the outer areas of the padel racquet, it reduces the possible cutting of fibres that may occur when the rubber sinks in.
Rough surface on the top layer of the padel racquet face enables players to generate more spin on the ball.
The carbon frame provides padel racquet with greater rigidity and durability.
NOX’s custom grip increases grip by 52% and decreases the vibrations from the racquets by 29%. It is fully customisable to sit where you want it to on the handle and is great for players who sweat a lot.
The EOS flap improves the aerodynamics and manoeuvrability of the padel racquets with the side perforations at the base of the frame. The combination of design and engineering gives the racquets better striking speed and a heightened sense of control.
